1971 Speedmaster ‘straight line’ : ST 145.022

An original Omega Speedmaster Professional, model reference ST 145.022. This is a 1971 Speedmaster, as such it carries the straight line case back engraving ‘THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON’. This correct for the movement number 31——. The watch has the correct, original DN90 (dot next to 90) bezel. The stepped dial with painted logo is in excellent condition, as are the tritium hands. The bracelet is the original 1175 reference stamped ‘2-71’ (Feb 1971), with 640 end links.

We have obtained an extract from the Omega archive, which confirms that the watch left the factory on 18th June 1971, and was delivered to the UK. I have a few textile straps that are included with the watch.

We have serviced the movement and fitted a new Omega UB crystal, we have not polished or re-finished the case/bracelet.

If you would like reserve this original Speedmaster, contact Dominic.

Price: Sold 9th June 2017
