A particularly fine Rolex Submariner-Date, model reference 1680/0.
We purchased this Submariner from the family of the original owner. It is probably one of the most complete vintage Rolex watches that we have purchased.
The watch was sold new on 9th February 1980 by Ernest Jones in Maidstone. A complete set comprising of the original Rolex boxes (inc outer), Submariner/My Rolex Oyster booklets, three swing tags!! and the COSC punched chronometer certificate. We also have the sales invoice from Ernest Jones showing the £512.00 price paid.
A 40mm diameter stainless steel diver’s chronometer, matt black ‘SWISS T<25' dial with the original tritium hands, with have aged to a nice, cream colour. A very well presented 1680 Submariner with all teh boxes, booklets and accessories that it was sold with. Call Dominic or Michael for more information..
